Lead Clinical Research Associate/Program Coordinator
Namrata Das Batra is the Lead Clinical Research Associate/Program Coordinator for the Stroger Hospital of Cook County Minority-Underserved NCI Community Oncology Program (SHCC MU-NCORP). Namrata is a Doctor of Medicine and Surgery. She was awarded a Degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2003 by Bundelkhand University in India , following five and one -half years of professional study in Medicine, including one year internship. The curriculum of her educational background incorporates study in Sciences, Pre-clinical, Clinical subjects, and a period of practical training.
She has been associated with SHCCMU- NCORP since January 2010. She started as a Research Associate doing the work of screening, enrolling and retaining patients on all trials. In 2022 she was promoted to be the Lead CRA/ Program Coordinator in recognition of her commitment and dedication to NCORP for more than10 years. She is responsible for programmatic coordination of all clinical matters related to Clinical trials and mentoring the other CRA's.
