MU-NCORP LogoStroger Hospital of Cook County (SHCC) became a Minority-based Community Clinical Oncology Program (MBCCOP) in June 2002. In August of 2014 Minority-based Community Clinical Oncology Program was restructured to form a new Minority/Underserved NCI Community Oncology Research Program (MU-NCORP).

Name is different, but our goals and work stay the same. As our former head Dr. Howard A. Zaren used to say: "business as usual."
